WattWorker is making it commercially & operationally viable to electrify heavy-duty Class 8 Semis. This is possible due to the battery swapping technology they are developing that will replace discharged Semi batteries with charged batteries in under 5 minutes. Their swappable batteries and network of swap stations enables them to overcome range and charging time issues. Semis utilizing their technology not only can operate 24/7 and handle long-haul routes, but also use smaller, lighter batteries that carry 5-10% more payload than when deploying comparable electric Semis. The net result is superior operational and financial performance.
