Solaroad

Imagine our roads would harvest solar energy and convert it to electricity to power public lighting, traffic installations, households, and electric vehicles. SolaRoad produces and markets these roads. Solar cells are robustly integrated in precast concrete road elements, which can be applied in roads, bike paths, walkways, parkings, … With SolaRoad our road network turns into a large scale, decentral source of green electricity, perfectly integrated in the environment: invisible, inaudible, durable and robust.
