The lack of alertness causes people to lose their belongings, health risks to increase and companies to lose because they can not take preventive action. With the purpose of minimizing such damages has arisen the Pluvi.On: a dense network of rainfall measurement that emits alerts based on rainfall information in real time. The data are collected by a low-cost hardware scattered throughout the city and from the understanding of the behavior of the rain are assessed the risks of floods and landslides and automatic alerts are issued to the population of chatbot San Pedro Bot through Facebook Messenger. Anticipating the event allows for better decision making and thus enables the creation of emergency strategies minimizing losses. For companies sensitive to rain data (as Agrobusiness, Insurance, Utilities) custom dashboards are being created that have the information relevant to the strategy of each business.
