Kogniz has created a live video intelligence service that uses computer vision and AI to recognize people, objects and activities in real-time. The solution addresses the massive growth of camera sensors that is expected to exceed 45B deployed cameras by 2022. Kogniz solves critical problems for its customers in security, access and advanced analytics. Current deployed uses include: identifying known criminals and detecting unattended backpacks and weapons (security), confirming authorized personnel in an area and automatically opening a door or turnstile (access), and accurately counting new and return visitors in a retail environment (advanced analytics). Kogniz does all of its own data training and has created highly accurate and optimized models for facial recognition and object identification and tracking.
