Fagerhult Lighting

Smart lighting systems that monitor occupancy, energy, and building connectivity for commercial spaces.

About Fagerhult Lighting

The Fagerhult story began in 1945 when our founder, an engineer called Bertil Svensson, created a lamp so that his mother could keep knitting during the long, dark, Nordic winter nights. The Scandinavian relationship with light is unique, ranging from almost never-ending darkness to a sun that almost never sets. It’s a culture defined by form and function, design with a purpose but also aesthetics. These cultural characteristics remain at the heart of what we do. As the dynamics of the built environment changes, we have evolved beyond solely providing illumination by harnessing the lighting installation as a backbone for smart buildings. We Collect and monitor occupancy and energy, connect seamlessly with other building services, facilitate wayfinding, promote best space utilisation and integrate with smart building platforms. The combination of a dense network of sensors, market leading data throughput, and the use of integrated lighting technology, enhances the overall connectivity between occupiers and their environment.
