We are building the most useful commercial real estate data platform. SM2 was originally built to solve our own problem in getting research to make decisions about new investments and developments. Then a few friends asked us to open the research with them, and we saw how many different problems we can solve. SM2 is a single place combining public data with our own research and regular inspections of all the properties, which we believe makes it the best available, verified and independent open research resource today. We envisage the platform to become an integral part of business for architects, brokers, developers, owners, banks, and other professionals who can use SM2 to compare properties, look at competing new projects, see prices and connect with each other. SM2 is a kind of navigator for commercial real estate; it doesn’t replace the driver but gives him the data to make more informed decisions and get to the destination quicker. And we are always very happy to hear our users’ ideas for making the platform better and more useful in their work.
