Capturing once the as-built 3D BIM models is provided as service by our surveyor partners or can be done by customers’ own crew using iPads and laser distance meters. OrthoGraph controls the quality of data, there is no need to involve highly educated people for the procedure, and no need for expensive and sensitive surveying instruments. The speed of as-built modeling can achieve 2000sqm/day for each average skilled surveyor while the resulting model is 99%+ accurate. This can be further multiplied by the parallel work supported with teamwork features. The resulting BIM model can be integrated to any ERP or facility management system both on mobile and web platforms. This gives access to all building data anywhere: both on-site for the worker to access building documentation or in the office to prepare for the on-site work or run graphical reports from external systems. With OrthoGraph prior to repairing a breakdown the maintenance worker can check the location and properties (including photos, videos, recorded system noise) of the equipment, so going out for the repair can be done with proper tools and materials. Navigation to the particular equipment can also be optimized resulting in less move and minimizing downtime. Minimizing downtime is might be crucial in many circumstances (e.g. in hospitals saving human lifes), that is also supported by the on-site accessible building documentation. When the repair is done, the changes have to be registered right on-site, using OrthoGraph’s mobile functionality.
