About Grenton
Grenton produces and distributes comprehensive Smart Home Systems.
Grenton solutions enable home devices to communicate with each other using multiple communication standards available on the market. The system is composed of several dozen hardware modules, an intuitive, elegant device management and configuration application
Object Manager and an application for controlling home devices for iOs and Android smart phones.
Grenton control modules are available in multiple variants, differing in how they are installed in the building as well as in which communication protocol they use: Ethernet, RS485, Z-wave, BLE, WiFi.
The logical functions of the system are processed by Common Logic Unit (CLU) modules, which communicate via a traditional Ethernet network. A unique and distinguishing feature of the Grenton system is that the CLU is able to communicate with sensors and execution modules via different protocols simultaneously.
An object oriented approach, exceptional in such systems, makes the architecture of the Grenton system highly flexible and innovative compared to other systems. Each device in the Grenton network is modelled as an object which possesses its own unique set of properties, events that it may trigger, as well as the functions it can execute in the system.
