We started Dwelo because frankly, apartment living can be a lot better. Better for everyone: owners, managers and residents. Consumer technology is improving life everywhere, but the way you rent and live in an apartment is pretty much the same as it was in the 60s. Old school. The early Dwelo team, like most young Americans, lived in apartments. Many of us worked for tech companies in Silicon Valley and were constantly exposed to new technology. And some of that new tech promises to revolutionize life at home. Homes are beginning to wake up, think, and proactively respond to our needs. Sadly, smart home tech is fragmented, DIY oriented and falling short of its potential.
