About Norban
Norban is a Swedish estate agent set out to challenge the industry with a solution that combines the traditional estate agency with new digital tools. They are calling themselves “Scandinavia’s first hybrid estate agency”.
”We are the only broker in Sweden that facilitate our own digital platform. Which means that a homeowner can list their home, even before signing a selling contract with the broker. If you want to proceed and publish pictures of your home, we will photograph it for free”, says Adrian Miller, Founder.
One of Norban’s goals is to help homeowners to test the interest on the market.
With the Norban app customers can put up “pre-ads” to test the interest on the market before they commit to selling their home. The listing will be published on the company’s own marketplace – Norban Pre-Market.
If you sell your home on the Pre-Market the seller pays a 0 SEK commission, instead the fixed fee of 30.000 SEK is put on the buyer.
Norban’s estate agents will then handle all the parts that, according to Adrian Miller, creates real value. As setting the market valuation, photographing the home, viewings, negotiations, contract signage and access phase.
A homeowner can at any time proceed to the open market and list the home on e.g Hemnet. If a homeowner decides to sell on the open market, Norban offers a low fixed fee of 30.000 SEK paid by the seller.
Norban’s ambition is to have established operations in Sweden’s twelve largest cities by 2023 as well as a few large cities in Europe. They just closed a seed round of 12 MSEK.
