HoistCam

HoistCam by Netarus is a rapidly deployable wireless camera system for heavy equipment. HoistCam provides video feed from anywhere on a job site to increase safety, efficiency, and productivity. Netarus, LLC's initial product, HoistCam, is a video capture system consisting of (1) a ruggedized wireless camera mounted on a crane’s hook block, and (2) a wireless monitor and video receiver box placed in the crane operator’s cab. The HoistCam eliminates blind lifts making it possible for the crane operator to see everything, and that improves productivity and safety. Netarus has also created a video and data sharing platform called Director that allows all the video to be seen and shared with anyone, anywhere. The Director can also take video and data feeds from other cameras and sensors on the site, such as from UAVs. The video and data can be recorded and stored, and can be fed into analytic tools for futher analysis called HoistCam Site Tracker. HoistCam SiteTracker is the machine learning platform where video and images are analyzed to produced actionable data such as orthomosaics, 3D point clouds and digital surface maps.
