Mission CRE Korea aims to be the most trusted and most accurate source of commercial real estate valuations in South Korea by using big data, machine learning, and extensive algorithms complemented by primary and secondary market research. We aim to create products that help real estate professionals make better decisions and successfully complete projects more efficiently (cost and time). Team In addition to Ray, the team includes two web/software developers, a CTO-level technology professional, data/software engineer, machine learning engineer, and COO who aids Ray in Korean related business/operational issues; the team is advised by a 13-year+ Korean commercial real estate veteran whose background is in asset management / investment / leasing / valuation / BD and a 5-year+ certified Korean appraiser. Our Story The idea for this company was born from its’ CEO’s experience in selling Korean real estate as a big-data/GIS consultant and agent/broker. He has prepared consultant-level documentation to sell properties and has participated in discussions on both sides of the table in regards to the buyers and sellers sides. He quickly realized there had to be a more cost and time efficient way to facilitate the sale of Korean real estate, particularly commercial real estate. In his experience he has encountered two main problems that led him to the founding of this company: 1. Appraisals for real estate are expensive/time intensive and neither the buyer or seller wants to pay for them; 2. Investing time to create an authoritative report to entice buyers is not a wise investment as it may not prove fruitful given that brokers are typically only awarded success fees.
